We realize that a disability which cannot be 'seen' is not always taken seriously. We do take it seriously! Let us know what your needs are and we will do everything possible to accommodate them. We work with a lot of travelers who want a slightly slower pace or a limited amount of walking or perhaps just a few "tweeks" to a trip to make it easier.
Here's just a partial list of of the types of disabilities that some clients come to us with:
Brain injury
Early stages of Multiple Sclerosis
Fibromylagia
COPD
Recent surgeries
Arthritis
Recent stroke
Recuperating from chemotherapy
Some of the above issues may also fall into what we and many others would categorize as "slow walkers", but the consistancy of the above sample list is that the traveler may have a disability that no one readily sees and, therefore, you feel is not accommodated.
