Bon Voyage Cocktail Reception
In days gone by, one of the most memorable moments in cruising was enjoying that champagne toast as the ship set sail for an exotic destination.

Today's cruise finds guests wandering the ship, unpacking luggage, or rushing off to the lunch buffet, typically unaware of when the ship has left the port.

Bringing the romance of cruising back in style, guests on each Vacation Vignette sailing are invited to a complimentary and exclusive Bon Voyage Cocktail Reception to meet their Concierge Host and for an opportunity to toast fellow travelers on what is sure to be an unforgettable vacation experience.


Exclusive Shore Event 
Our affiliate has searched the globe for those not-so-well-known hideaways and special extras that make each Vacation Vignette sailing a unique offering, available only through their agencies. Whether a private wine tasting event with a seasoned sommelier at Heidelberg Castle, a gala concert and gourmet dinner at the Last Palace in St. Petersburg, or scrapbooking classes taught on-board by renowned artist Patricia DiBona, you will return from each event anxious to share stories with fellow passengers and friends back home.

Some examples of the shore events include:
Tsar's Summer Palaces with Lunch: Delve deep into the history of the Romanov's family and admire the wonderful architecture while visiting the tsar's famous summer residences. Afterwards, enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant overlooking the Swallow's Nest.

Best of Istanbul with Lunch: View the best of Istanbul's stunning architecture and attractions, including the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. A traditional Turkish lunch menu will be served at an old Ottoman House. Finally, stop at the Grand Bazaar for shopping and a demonstration on the art of carpet weaving.

A Taste of Sorrento: Admire beautiful lemon and olive trees as you sample wonderful Italian delicacies, such as hand-made bread, cheeses and salami. During the return drive, see wonderful views from the Sorrento coast of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius in the distance.
