It owes its name to the remarkable rocky formation at the summit with limestone crests and rock pinnacles, just like the spires of a cathedral. You will reach the summit by cable car (or chair lift) for a magnificent view of the Andes, its peaks, blue lakes, valleys and the town of San Carlos de Bariloche. Bariloche-Peulla : Today begin crossing of Lake Nahuel Huapi and crystal waters surrounded by white snow capped mountains. Arrive at Puerto Blest for lunch. Peulla-Puerto Varas : This morning continue the lake crossing from Peulla by boat to Petrohue crossing the emerald waters of "Lake Todos Los Santos". Lunch in Petrohue. Continue by bus passing to view Petrohue river falls and skirting Llanquihue lake. In the background the spectacular and almost cone shaped "Osorno Volcano".
