Journeying from Resolute to Resolute, we intend to explore in the Canadian Arctic: Lancaster Sound, Grise Fjord, Beechey Island, Cape Hay Migratory Bird Sanctuary and Pond Inlet. In Greenland, we plan to visit Qaanaaq and Cape York. This is the expedition to choose, if you want to explore the higher latitudes of the Canadian and Greenlandic Arctic.

Akademik Sergey Vavilov is powered by a 5,000 kilowatt diesel twin engine. Bow and stern thrusters provide maximum maneuverability, while a shallow draft permits passage through channels impassable by larger ships.
